Kiszla: What’s wrong with lost, clueless Broncos is epitomized by stupid, reckless football played by Kareem Jackson Unable to play winning football, the Broncos have decided to play the victim, expressing the belief that the NFL is out to get them. You know what losers do? In the wake of a suspension to safety Kareem Jackson, the Broncos now blame the refs, because that’s much easier than taking accountability for stupid mistakes and bad football.Rather than focus on all the reasons Denver has lost 16 straight times to Kansas City, captain Justin Simmons came out Wednesday, blasting the league for unjustly punishing Jackson, now serving a two-game suspension after being fined for brutal hits in five games this season.“The whole dirty player analogy we’re kinda trying to stick to his name and his reputation is absolute bull,” Simmons said.Jackson is not a dirty player. But he’s a knucklehead. And to not understand the difference? As much as I admire and respect Simmons, that’s absolute balderdash.I get it. Simmons was trying to stand up for a teammate. But he badly missed the point. You are what you ...

Bear caught on camera ringing doorbell Video captured a trio of unlikely pranksters ringing the doorbell of a home in San Bernardino County before running away.  Three bears were seen on a Yucaipa home’s Ring Doorbell system as they ambled onto the front porch at around 12:45 a.m.  As one of the furry rogues nears the doorbell, it gets on its hind legs and begins sniffing, scratching and licking the doorbell camera, giving the residents a closeup look of the perpetrator's snoot.  A Yucaipa home's Ring Doorbell system captured one of two bears ringing their doorbell in the early morning hours. The bear momentarily pulls back and glances at what’s behind him or her, perhaps to see if its partners wants in on the fun. The bear then returns its attention to the doorbell, gives it another good lick and activates the doorbell’s chimes. Almost as if it’s waiting to see if someone will answer the door, the bear pauses - Halloween is just around the corner after all - before giving the camera another few scratches and then f...

Auto workers and Ford reach tentative labor agreement By Vanessa Yurkevich and Chris Isidore | CNNFord and the United Auto Workers union reached a tentative labor deal, according to the union. It is an important first step in ending the union’s unprecedented strike against three major US automakers.“Our Stand Up strike has delivered,” UAW president Shawn Fain declared in a video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.“Ford knew what was coming for them on Wednesday if we didn’t get a deal. That was checkmate. On day 40 of the Stand Up strike, we reached a historic agreement,” Fain added. The agreement will not go into effect until the 57,000 UAW rank-and-file members at Ford ratify the deal, a process that is likely to take more than a week. Biden condemns retaliatory attacks by Jewish settlers By Aamer Madhani, Seung Min Kim and Colleen Long | Associated PressWASHINGTON — President Joe Biden on Wednesday spoke out against retaliatory attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank in the aftermath of the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel. He also said he was redoubling his commitment to working on a two-state solution to end the decades-long Israel-Palestinian conflict.Biden said the attacks by “extremist settlers” amounted to “pouring gasoline” on the already burning fires in the Middle East since the Hamas attack.“It has to stop. Richmond becomes first U.S. city to declare support for Palestinians amid Israel-Hamas war RICHMOND — When officials in this city of only 115,000 people announced they would be voting on a resolution to support Palestinians living in Gaza amid the worst outbreak of violence between Israel and Hamas in decades, it drew hundreds of people to Tuesday’s city council meeting. The Richmond City Council cleared its entire Tuesday night schedule to discuss the controversial stance, which protests what the resolution characterizes as an ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing, collective punishment and war crimes by the state of Israel. A vote approving the lengthy resolution wasn’t tallied until just after 1 a.m. Wednesday — establishing what appears to be the first of its kind in the nation.Nearly five hours of public testimony was delivered by scores of community leaders and local residents on all sides of the conflict, which has already claimed the lives of more than 6,500 Palestinians and 1,400 Israelis.Richmond’s elected officials patiently listened to the hund...
